ICPS Vienna

On Sunday I reached Vienna and met Mike, our supervisor at the conference rezeption. We both had some drinks there and Mike intruduced me to some of the big semiconductor personalities. We had a nice dinner and eventually even Albion showed up in Vienna. It took him a long time, his luggage was lost and he didn't get it back until our last evening in Vienna!

In the following days we attended the conference and did some sightseeing in the evenings. The conference venue was the Hofburg, and of course they didn't build that palace with air conditioners. As it was very hot they installed some temporary a/cs but they were not strong enough. Only one place, a new winter garden was cool and always crowded! On Friday we all had our presentations and I guess they went pretty well.
